The GCCI is designed for aggregate policy insight. It is not a diagnosis, an employment screen, a measure of innate worth or a national IQ ranking.

A defensible score requires more than platform data.
The founding research baseline demonstrates signal and global reach. Official certification requires representative sampling, a locked protocol and independent quality review.
Design the population sample
Define target cohorts and stratify by age, sex, education, geography, socioeconomic conditions and other relevant dimensions.
Administer CAB Population
Use a fixed, version-controlled battery with validated language, device and fieldwork procedures.
Pass the quality gates
Apply completion, coverage, weighting, missingness, invariance and audit checks before certification.
Publish with uncertainty
Release the score, confidence interval, domains, sample metadata, methodology version and status publicly.

A strong starting signal—published with its limitations.
The founding dataset contains 247,573 CAB assessments. Country-level adult scores show substantial associations with human-capital, competitiveness and income benchmarks, while youth observations are associated with PISA results. These are ecological correlations, not causal claims.

Why this is not yet the official ranking
The current records are organic and self-selected. Sample sizes, age structures, devices and demographic composition differ by country. The Research Preview therefore shows coverage and observations—not certified national estimates.

No. It is designed as a population outcome measure of specific cognitive capabilities under standardized conditions. It does not measure innate worth, genetic potential or the intelligence of every individual in a country.
The Research Preview uses organic, self-selected CogniFit records. Official certification requires a representative sample, locked CAB Population protocol, approved weighting, uncertainty estimates and independent quality review.
Every country can have a permanent public page. Payment funds representative measurement and implementation; it never buys a score, rank, methodological advantage or suppression right.
Yes. A clearly defined subnational geography can receive an official profile if its sample represents the target population and the study meets the same technical and governance standard.
No. They may be shown as contextual benchmarks, but the official core score is derived only from validated CAB performance outputs.
